Terms & Conditions – Shelf Indulgence Subscription Box

1. Overview

Welcome to Shelf Indulgence, a rolling monthly subscription box service offering themed bookish items delivered to your door. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all users, subscribers, and purchasers of our subscription box service.

2. Subscription & Billing

  • Monthly Subscription: Shelf Indulgence is a rolling monthly subscription service.
  • Billing Date: All subscriptions renew automatically on the 1st of each month, unless cancelled in accordance with the cancellation terms below.
  • Payment Method: By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on the renewal date each month.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time, except within 5 days prior to the monthly renewal date (i.e. cancellations must be made before the 26th of the month to avoid being charged for the upcoming box).
  • Cancellations made after this cut-off will apply to the following month.
  • No refunds will be issued for late cancellations.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • Subscription boxes will be shipped within three weeks following the 1st of each month.
  • Delivery times may vary based on your location and courier services.
  • We are not responsible for delays due to postal services or external disruptions beyond our control.

5. Product Availability & Exclusivity

  • Each monthly box contains a unique selection of bookish items curated to match the theme of the month.
  • Items may include, but are not limited to: bookmarks, candles or home fragrance items, bookish decor, trinkets, stationery, books, and other themed accessories.
  • Not all boxes will contain a book.
  • Designs and items included in the box will not be available for preview prior to purchase.
  • Some items may become available for purchase on our website after the box has shipped, but they may not be offered at the same price as they were within the subscription box.
  • The combination of items will vary each month, and we do not guarantee specific items in any particular box.

6. Returns & Refunds

  • Returns are only accepted for damaged or faulty items.
  • We do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind, duplicate items, or unwanted contents.
  • If your item arrives damaged or faulty, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving your box, including clear photographs of the item and packaging.
  • Please contact us at beyondthetwist@gmail.com with your order number and issue details to initiate a return or replacement process.
  • All return shipping costs for faulty goods will be covered by us.

7. Pricing & Changes

  • Subscription prices are subject to change. Any pricing changes will be communicated in advance via email or website update.
  • We reserve the right to change or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the subscription service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for delays, losses, or damages caused by external factors (e.g., postal strikes, customs delays, or force majeure events).
  • We are not liable for allergic reactions or sensitivities to any products included in the box (e.g., scented items). Full ingredients will be listed where applicable.
  • Your use of any products is at your own discretion and risk.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All content and designs included in Shelf Indulgence boxes, packaging, website, and promotional materials are the intellectual property of [Your Business Name].
  • You may not reproduce, resell, or redistribute the contents for commercial use without prior written permission.
